- Allows a Tuner to make changes mild to wild: slight changes to a fuel map to accommodate a Cold-Air-Intake to pulling timing where engine compression ratio has been raised.
- The Unichip ships unprogrammed (unless it is part of a kit)
- The end-user will require free or paid Unichip mapping or tuning software to program the unit
